These terms apply to merchants who install COD+ from the Shopify App Store.
The service
COD+ adds a cash-on-delivery order form, a confirmation queue, conversion reporting and a customer account page to a Shopify store. Orders are created in the merchant's Shopify store; the merchant remains responsible for fulfilling them and for complying with the laws of the countries they sell to.
Plans and billing
Plans are billed through Shopify's billing system on the merchant's Shopify invoice. The Free plan allows a monthly number of orders; paid plans allow more and charge a small per-order fee above their limit, capped per month. Orders marked as fraudulent by the merchant do not count. Downgrades and cancellations take effect immediately; Shopify prorates the difference. Uninstalling the app cancels the subscription.
Merchant responsibilities
- Configure delivery fees, cities and messages correctly for your market.
- Use the WhatsApp features only with numbers your customers gave you for their orders.
- Keep your advertising-platform tokens confidential; you may revoke them at any time in the platform.
Availability and liability
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it. COD+ never blocks an order because of an analytics or messaging failure. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the app in the three months preceding a claim.
Termination
You can uninstall at any time. We may suspend a store that abuses the service (spam, fraud, illegal goods). Data is deleted 48 hours after uninstall in line with Shopify's requirements.
